My car started playing up Easter weekend. No dashboard errors or warnings lit up but it started surging like it had a bad batch of fuel. Had it towed to the dealers last Tuesday and they diagnosed a faulty battery and replaced it under warranty as my car is still under 3 years old. Pretty happy with that result as they said a new one from them is $480.
