Not really Don, I was just wondering how it got so complicated instead of, yeah, that should definitely be 12V when dimmed or zero.

It seemed that my car's techincally strange behaviour, seeing as the gauge company had not heard of this before, was taken as normal. Especially when the voltage at night was never near 12 and only went down from there.

We will get to the bottom of this.
