    Dealer Service suggestions, Perth WA

My mk 7 TDi wagon just told me it wants to be serviced in less than 1000 km - I'd forgotten it was coming up, as 4 years rolls over in February. It's been going to Wangara VW with a satisfactory but hardly good service record to date (they tried to tell me the nav couldn't be updated, then that 18 month old maps were the newest available, etc - the list goes on). Any Perth owners recommendations for alternate dealers, or opinions of Osborne Park VW in particular (they're the next closest)?

You don't have to get your car serviced at a dealership to keep your warranty see if you can find a vw specialist nearby

My new vw will not see a dealership unless there is a warranty issue to be resolved just keep all the paperwork if there is a issue so you can prove proper servicing

Vw and all other car makers want you to service at the dealership because that's where they make over 65% of the profit of the dealership mine were most insistent that i service only at their dealership

Yeah pffft good luck with that no chance at all i will let their 16 year old apprentice muck around with my new car

I have found Elite Euro in Wangara to be honest and reliable. They are two minutes away from Wangara VW.

Just a bump on this old thread.
Are there any additional recommendations for a reliable, honest VW Golf service/diagnostic/repair shop in Perth. Preferably NOR. Got a EPC warning light that needs to be fixed. Thanks

Ended up using Phil at Eurospec Automotion in Balcatta to repair and service my daughters Golf 7. He seems very experienced. Happy with his communication, but I believe his pricing is high.
EPC alarm ended being to replace the turbo actuator.
In addition the car was almost due the 60,000 service which he did at the same time. Oil and filter changed and spark plugs replaced. He changed things like wiper blades which for a uni student is unnnecessary, particularly as he didn't confirm before doing the work. Car had to go back to have a significant oil leak remedied after the service - apparently the sump oil plug wasn't sealing?!
I will probably use RAC going forward as I have had good reports of their work.
