    Bend valves?

I haven't found a clear answer to this question in the forums....

If the timing belt breaks in my 2013 1.4l turbo while running, do the valves get bent ie: major damage?

I have been quoted a sizeable price by a dealer to replace the belt and am wondering what might happen if I ignore it for a while.

    Thanks,

    YES
The price to do the belt is a lot less than a new motor Belts should normally be done at 105,000 or 7 years whichever is first especially on that motor
