    7.5 GTI low speed sounds

hey everyone, just wondering if anyone have experienced what i am experiencing and is able to advise. I have a stock 2019 GTI 7.5 and recently i've noticed that when i let my foot off the brake pedal and the car starts to move off, it makes this noticeable vibration sound. it sounds like something is loose and is vibrating hard. It is even louder when I'm sitting on a slope and going upwards. Apart from this, the start up is pretty rough as well, almost sounds like a diesel but for like half a second.

    TIA

A 2019 Golf should have the 5 year factory warranty. Let VW listen to it

Yes, have a chat to the dealer service dept, why engine oil would be a factor beats me. Get a technician to take it for a drive and if he can't replicate it then drive it with him in the passenger seat until he sees or hears the problem.

Yeah I’ve booked a time in with the dealer to check it out but I was wondering if anyone else would have experienced something similar.

Just some thoughts (diagnosing via internet is always a bit dodgy when operating on minimal info):

    - Brakes binding or not immediately releasing (doesn't sound like the wet pads rusting onto disc issue, as that is usually just a single "bang" then nothing)

    - Clutch take-up vibration

    - Soft/broken engine or gearbox mounts (or extra hard aftermarket ones causing increased NVH)
2017 MY18 Golf R 7.5 Wolfsburg wagon (boring white) delivered 21 Sep 2017, 2008 Octavia vRS wagon 2.0 TFSI 6M (bright yellow), 2006 T5 Transporter van 2.5 TDI 6M (gone but not forgotten).

yeh, could be engine oil (truck noise / rattle usually fixed with diff oil), mount, or gearbox / clutch.

best to start with different oil... something as 'insignficant' as that isnt gonna get any attention from VW service

P.s also depending on how many kms u got and driving style u might have some carbon buildup or on cyl 1 .. cleaning that out usually gives better performance on start and cyl 1 - 1st gear
