Forge quick shift fits 9N3 GTI, some MK4 chassis and some MK5 and 6, 6 speed manuals.

After being impressed with the nice shift on my own Polo, I got an extra in with my last PSI Tuning order.

Please check the link below to see if it will fit yours, definitely doesn't fit the AGU box

$145 plus a tenner for shipping overnight.

    I reckon that's a problem at Forge's end.

FMVAG5QS is the part number. http://www.forgemotorsport.com/media/fmvag5qs.pdf install instructions

Hey Gav, how much do you reckon it would cost to have someone install this??

It wouldn't be harder than doing the dog bone. 30 minutes to an hour tops. The slight drama for std cars is the battery and airbox obscure most of the job.

Forge claim it doesn't do the AGU engine gearbox combo, in their product description. I think this is due to the cable arrangement. If I get a minute tomorrow though, I'll see if it will go on the gearbox. Then we could look into what the score is with the shifter cables.

It did Clif and I edited it, as I originally missed the "n't" out... Sorry for the confusion there. I went to try it on the box I have at home forgetting the shifter tower was swapped off it. So I can't try it. I'll have a look under the bonnet of Blackers10s Golf next time I see him and check if Forge are correct. I'd be surprised if they weren't but it would be handy to know what the differences are.
