ABS, ESP, Steering Angle lights came on after both front tyres got changed. After scanning with OBDeleven it’s fault code 00285 saying electrical error in circuit. Replaced the sensor but the lights remain. Tested the sensor by jumping it to the other side, and the sensor reads fine on live data. It’s perhaps some issue in the wiring. As per the dealership, they’ve checked the sensor and the wiring, and supposedly it’s the control unit that is faulty, but they have no way of checking it for sure. Part is on order basis and ridiculously expensive. I don’t want to spend $4000 just to find out that was not the problem. I’ve checked the wiring myself, and I’ve tried to compare data with the left side. So the voltage reading to the sensor connector on the left side is 13.7V, and on the right side is 13.2V. As per auto electricians, this is normal. There is continuity from the sensor connector to the ABS control unit connector (J104). Resistance within the wire is the same on both left and right sides. Could it be that the control unit is faulty, but only for one wheel? Full scan below. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
