    Do FSI injectors require coding?

Do the FSI injectors need coding if they are being replaced?

Just had my injectors cleaned and flow tested.
I had them all individually tagged to what cylinder hey came from but the guy who done the cleaning didn’t relabel them and now they are all in one bag and I got no idea what ones belong to what cylinder.

I know with the TDI injectors you have to code them in so they can relearn.
Is this the same with FSI?
I can’t find anywhere in the service manual that mentions this?

I cant imagine so, but the Euro manufacturers do like to make things unnecessarily complicated so I guess its possible. Did you clean the intake valves etc while the injectors were out?

Given there's 8 injectors i assume these are for your RS5 correct?

Japanese manufacturers also use coded injectors these days as well.

Well no codes are showing and it idles perfect so I’m gonna say no to this one
There is no where in the service Manuel that mentions anything about doing it

I mean.. You could have done it in the correct order first go

Sounds like it does not, I wonder if replacing would be any different?

I was just wondering because I’m poking at getting new injectors for my A1 TDI and it to be coded.
Was just curious if the FSI injectors where the same
