    Tow bar problem

    I have a factory (Lennock Motors) fitted towbar on my V6 Superb Wagon. While I don't mind scraping the tow bar on driveway exits I am becoming a bit worried about scraping the wiring. The wires and connector are seriously scuffed after a month and the outer wire casing has exposed the inner wires. The plastic screw on cap that connects the car loom to the trailer socket (I hope I am making sense here) is also suffering. I would like to know if anyone else has had problems and is there an alternative mounting point that doesn't put this wiring in jeopardy? If I can work out how to add a picture I will do so. Thanks

    Problem fixed. The service department removed the wiring and gave me a new one. Now I just fit it when I am towing, 1 minute job. A bit annoyed I have 2 small holes in the bumper though.
