Anyone used these guys before for supply and install?

    https://www.speedytowbars.com.au/

They're saying that I will have to manually turn off the reverse sensors myself each time I'm reversing the car? But blind spot sensors etc will still work fine when towing.

Do the Skoda (or VW) factory fitted ones do this automatically?

    Yes they do.

I'm not sure if the rear sensors can be totally turned off. I haven't tried.

No need to turn off the reverse sensors in the "factory" fitted towbars.

There is one thing I'd like to mention, with my towbar, when you are securing a trailer or whatever and you need to use the d-shackle, the opening is very narrow and I think it will only take 10mm ones which are really thin.

In regards to bike carriers and the towbars that these vehicles come with, it fits really well. I got the Thule as the Yakima one was slightly moving, but I guess if you roll a condom over it it would help lol
