What did you do to your Mk5 today?

I spent 2 hours detailing the Jetta.
Looks better than the day it rolled out of the showroom.

Fitted the badges I bought. Despite my best efforts, I think the MK V badge is not 100% level (as I knew it wouldn't be :-( ). I try & live with it and see if I buy another or just do without.

Got nitrogen put in the tyres!

Got it serviced just under 8,000km and had the mirror knob replaced.

Gave it a shower :D

Looks pretty good. You'd have to have a keen eye and know what you're looking for to think it's not totally level.

How does it attatch to the car?

installed my avc9000 i got off a forum member a week ago. would like to rerout the ipod cable into the center console. have it in the front glovebox for the time being. may look at a dual fakra to din aerial connection at the same time. need to find time also to install my dsg paddle steering wheel:driver:

Yea thanks Greasy, they are held on with double sided tape that was already fixed to them.
