^ Probably a year before I get to that mark... But as they say sometimes "experienced" is better!

Anyhow, fitted Pirelli P7's to the Jetta @ $170/corner for 225/45/17. Much better than the Federal 595's I had when "new".

bent a rim on a massssiivveeee pothole, and am now rolling with a 15" on one corner, sad face. Getting a quote for it to be repaired, otherwise might update.

Was just looking at how those tyres on SWMBO's 6 still look new after 25,000km...

Not sure how accurate this is but someone has told me that the council will pay repair bills for damaged rims due to potholes.

Only if the pothole has been reported and not fixed within a certain time frame.

Had to detail my wife's car for sale (anyone after a 2008 CX-7?) so I decided to detail my GTI too. How good is it to detail a car that can be done in a couple of hours and you don't need a step-ladder to do the roof?!
