    Warranty work with a smile

I am pleased with the build quality of the Golf, so when I noticed the cloth trim on the drivers door had frayed where it joins to the door handle, I asked the dealer if this was a warranty issue. They agreed to replace the trim and supplied a loan car while the work was carried out. No ifs or butts just good service. Thumbs up Lennox Motors.

Good to hear. I don't know if all dealers are that easy to deal with.

I find the attitude you go in with is what usually greets you. At dealers too.

Even though I have some issues with the service department at the dealer that services my car, I've never experienced any reluctance to rectify anything under warranty. At times I've been surprised at their willingness to replace items that I had not realised were faulty.

I also agree with Greg, one's attitude can make a difference.

    Cheers

Definitiely, i have a few mates that have worked in service departments, and if you go in acting like a wanker, dont expect any special treatment, and dont be surprised if there are a few extras on your bill when you come back to cllect your car.

Being nice is what gets you looked after, and my current mob are tops, nothing is ever too much and I even get to choose my courtesy car instead of being lumbered with a yellow beetle.
