    Short shift kit

I am looking for a short shift kit for my manual 5 Gti. There seems to be a lot of choice. What do you guys recommend?

    Cheers,

    +1 VW short shift kit

USD195, plus about $45 for shipping.

I honestly cant compare with other brands, but have one in my S3 and its a massive improvement over OEM

That looks pretty good. I was hoping for an Australian product. In my previous car (I know, Japanese pfff) I had a GFB short shifter that worked really well. Much better than American offerings.

I'm not aware of any Aussie products. I'd say the market would be way too small.

    +2 to DG SS.

Mine's been spot on for over 3 years. Adjusted it once a few months after installation and haven't looked back

    The DG SS is ordered.

It seems to be one of the few that adjusts for both side to side as well as front to back

    Thanks for the recommendation

    Nice one.

I've also tried Neuspeed and Forge and they are much better.
