Just found this on the Bendix website not very helpful. WIll i have to pull the wheel off to find out the disk size on the rear?
Hi all,
About to replace my rear break pads on a 2005 Golf 1.9 TDI
Anybody know correct pads including part numbers.
Any recommendations for pads and disk suppliers would also be welcome.
I am in Brisbane. Called Burson's they only had the cube break piston tool so i ordered a compression twist tool for ABS breaks from another supplier.
Cheers
Trumper.

look up the brake code on the build matrix inside the service book.
It should be...
On the front:
280x22mm (vehicles with option codes 1ZC,1ZF,1ZM)
288x25mm (vehicles with option code 1ZE)
312x25mm (vehicles with option codes 1LJ,1LL)
On the rear:
255x10mm (vehicles with option codes 1KD,1KQ)
260x12mm (vehicles with option codes 1KE,1KF)
286x12mm (vehicles with option codes 1KJ,1KY,1KZ)

If it's got the original discs on it, it'll have the part number stamped in the outer edge of the 'hat'.
