    I did a survey on it, its meant to be coming soon so i dont have a link. I should of taken a screen shot..
    The pictures where not very good and couldnt read to much on the label but it was 15-40

    If it's 15w-40 then it probably isn't 504.00/507.00 & therefore doesn't suit a mkV. Maybe you should have started a new thread?

    Oil to suit mk5 (off shelf)

    5w-40 valvoline synpower

    Have found it to go through less oil than running on 5w-30 as viscotity is higher

    Would 504.00 / 507.00 also work for a 2007 2.0 TDI MY08? Thanks in advance.

    You need 507.00 spec because you have DPF

    Thanks for the quick reply. I use penrite enviro+ 5w30 (which is approved for VW 504.00 / 507.00) for a Skoda TSI so that should work for the golf TDI too. Saves me buying different grades of oil.

    I use fuchs titan gt1 pro c3 5w30, good stuff
