Obscure Repair Advice

My driver seat recline knob is broken... I think the plastic knob has clips that have broken off - all that’s left is the metal wheel (that cuts into ones hands when reclining)... I have the knob but before I try to glue it (it’s been glued on before, unsuccessfully it seems) any advice on the best method of fixing the know back on?

Replace the knob. They're generally single use, once they come back off, they're no good.
