    New GT owner in Brissy

    Hey

I've just come across from the rexnet forums where I have been frequenting for the past 4 years due to owning an MY04 CS7 rexy. However I have just bought myself a red GT Golf, the 2 litre TDI. I was insantly impressed with the little beastie, the acceleration was fantastic and I don't miss my rex one bit! And OMG I can get more than 400km's out of a tank now!

Was wondering if anyone had had a look at APR in Brisbane? I was interested in the chip package they are doing for around the 2k mark. Anyone had this done or had any experience with it. Any fedbak would be much appreciated

    Cheers

Welcome Angryman. You have come to the right place and its good to have you here.
Best to give Guy Harding at Harding performance, East Brissie a ring mate. Oettinger would be the go there I think....

I have my APR ECU upgrade for about a month (and a 6 hour trial before that), it is fantastic! Talk to Guy or Alex at Harding performance at 2/63 Fisher Street, East Brisbane, website: www.hp.net.au. You better be quick because their 10% off sale is only on until end of this month.

Welcome! Can't wait to get a drive of a GT Oiler - they pull like a 14 year old (apparently).

Love to see what colour &c you got - post 'em when you can.

Actually the same as you! I bought the tornado red one off the floor of austral volkswagon in Newstead, with th emanual transmission. Soon as I pick it up its off to get tinted and then when I've racked up 10 thou or so I'll get it chipped

29 of those years the VW had a BOXER motor, what people have done previously with the VW is irrelevent in this situation. A diesel place will have more knowledge then any VW expert.
