...as two years ago I had a motorcycle accident that crippled my right leg (cannot bend the knee and hence cannot use my right leg to drive, I drive with my left leg) and the VW Golf TDI 2.0 DSG is the only car that has enough room for my right leg to rest on right hand foot rest. It's also a very comfortable car to drive and also the fact that it is a diesel is great cause I get excellent fuel economy from it. They are pretty quick as well.

    /me dreams of an R32

The wait is killing me, still a bit over a month to go. Any idea of a realistic time to get the car from Port Kembla? The dealership is at Penrith and they reckon 10 days is about right.

My Eos is on the same boat - Trinidad right?, they gave me a Jetta TFSI to drive while i'm waiting, coz I complained bitterly about the wait .
So the wait is not so onerous. It means you enjoy the car just thta little bit extra when it finally arrives.

Now ... now ladies. Handbags at 10 paces, no biting or scratching and definitely no lighting the hairspray cans. I want to see a clean fight ... not a cat fight.

tsk tsk DaveMack - you shouldnt be imposing sexist stereotypes on the forum, apart from which, everybody knows that jelly wrestling is the correct way to resolve arguments..

Back on topic temporarily - fwiw:

Whats to like, why would you hang out to buy a MKV VeeDub (R32):

It goes like a scalded cat

It handles - and you wont need to wear a kidney belt for rough stuff (A quick hello to WRX owners!)

    Its confidence inspiring and safe.

Can switch between flat out scratching and cruising with ease, its like two cars in one. No problem driving this on a long trip if you feel the need.

For a compact sports hatch it can still take two passengers with comfort
Heaps of boot space with the rear seat down.

did i say it goes like a scalded cat?
