Melbourne - ODB CAN cable?
Hey all
Anyone in melbourne have a cable handy I could lend to try and sort out my replacement dash cluster? The immobilizer is insane on these vehicles.
This is for a 2007 MK5 golf so cables for older vehicles won't work, I need a 'K+CAN' cable (one that support CANBUS)

Do you have any of the key fobs that go with the cluster, from what I remember that solves the problem? One option being to glue the fob under the dash and while it means you no longer technically have a working immobiliser ... it does work.Originally Posted by Tangles553
