Red face Melbourne - ODB CAN cable?

    Hey all

Anyone in melbourne have a cable handy I could lend to try and sort out my replacement dash cluster? The immobilizer is insane on these vehicles.

This is for a 2007 MK5 golf so cables for older vehicles won't work, I need a 'K+CAN' cable (one that support CANBUS)

Happy to buy it off you if you prefer

    Cheers,
    Tangles

I have a vague recollection that cluster replacement, and the inherent immobiliser issues, are way more complicated than can be dealt with through VCDS.

Do you have any of the key fobs that go with the cluster, from what I remember that solves the problem? One option being to glue the fob under the dash and while it means you no longer technically have a working immobiliser ... it does work.
