Issues with cigarette lighter and rear 12v socket

    Hi guys

Having slight issues with the golf recently.
Currently have a dash cam tapped into my 12v rear boot (well at least accordingly to the fuse diagram from the user manual). Issues are:

    1. The cigarette lighter socket and rear 12v is no longer working. I've replaced both fuses (slot 24 and 26) to no success.
    2. As mentioned above, I have a dash camera tapped into the 12v rear boot fuse. The fuse went and I've replaced it with a 15a. I've however noticed since replacing all fuses that my add a fuse is drawing constant power, and my dash cam is no longer powering down after i turn off my ignition.

Would anyone know what I'm doing wrong here, or is there potentially a mechanical problem?

Issue fixed. Appears that slot 28 is the correct fuse, not 24 and 26 as described in the user manual. Lesson learnt, try remember which fuse you pulled out when changing fuses.
