It might be time to bite the bullet and replace the hose.
The tabs on the hose that the clip registers with, wear down over time from movement in the joint itself.
My intercooler Jose has blown off on three separate occasions. Each time a new clip and o ring has been fitted.
Has anybody else had this issue?

Yes replacing the hose may be in order.

With nearly 300,000km on it, id say the hose would be well and truly in need to replacement anyway.
Which hose blew? Was it just a boost leaking sort of sound? Mine has started that, and I pulled the two hoses off the bottom of the intercooler on the weekend and cleaned the o-rings and the metal ends, but have only seemed to make the leak noise a bit more obvious. Where did you get your hoses from? How much were they? I've only got 152k on mine.

My hose ended up being the first off the turbo, split inside the elbow. I picked up a second hand hose, and it's all good again for now.
