    SE QLD Wheel repairer

    Hi

I recently purchased a golf with a bit of gutter rash.... on each wheel when i started researching to find a repairer i kept coming up with the same name.... Depulu?

These guys are in Ashmore and after a short conversation with one of the guys they appear friendly and knowledgeable.

I intend to head up there next week to get a quote on repairing all 4 of my wheels and hopefully they can be of some assistance to you in repairing your rim.

    Good luck

If goldy is too far away, try wheel revolutions, they are at slacks creek.

I think all they will do with that is just check it, and remachine the edge. Shouldnt be too painful. Assuming its not too bad :p

there was a place in sumner park that i had some wheels repaired about 5-7 year ago. they had huge flatspot/buckle got them back like a million dollars. from memory they built wheels for the v8 supercabs but realized that there was more money in repairs. think they are still there (not certain). they were down an alleyway of industrial units.

I was quoted round $90 a wheel to repair mine, although they are a nice simple silver design, not that I know if that makes a big difference

Give Adam a call at MARS (Mobile Automotive Repair Services) on 0424 199 225.
He fixed up my rims for me for around $90 a rim. I'm not sure whether he will be able to do yours though due to the chrome finish.
There is also Wheel Revolution on Moss St at Slacks Creek who can machine them down.
The best company in Queensland is on the Gold Coast though (can't remember their name). You need to take them the rim first though and they will provide you a quote on inspection on how much it will cost to repair the rim. They're not cheap though.
    Hope this helps.
    Cheers,
    Trent

Treza, the coast place is that Depulu place.

I got a quote a while back to just prep and repaint my old wheels. Wheel revolutions was $90, depulu was $120. Depulu from memory offer (at a cost) a pick up and drop off service too. Which might be handy.
