CD changer plug in the boot?

    Hi guys
I am looking at purchasing a USB audio interface for my 2006 GTI MKV as im sick of using an itrip to play my mp3s from my iphone.

This is the one im looking at

VW / AUDI / SEAT GROM USB/iPod interface adapter

There is an option of mounting the usb interface in the trunk (boot) rather than taking apart the whole dash to plug it into the external cd changer port. However can someone tell me if there is a connection for an external cd changer in the boot as i cant seem to locate it.

There is no CD changer location in the boot of the Mark V and there never has been.

Volkswagen never install extra wiring either, they only install harnesses and looms that suit your exact specification of car.

The only location for the CD changer is in the armrest area on the Mark V.

You will need to pull the head unit out to install this.
