Can anyone tell me the rotor limits for a 2007 2.0 Tdi 103kw? I think front is 22mm but what’s the back?

interesting, that’s vaguely annoying - I’m used to 3-4 sets of pads to a disc with landcruisers. Roughly how many km do they normally last? Not so worried about brake dust we live at the end of a 10km dirt road so there’s always a lot of dust!

Euro cars use soft metal on the disks and harsh brake pads - so that's why they chew through disks at a rapid rate and leave a monumental amount of dust on your wheels. If you replace the disks, go for a decent quality aftermarket brand like DBA or Bendix discs and then get a good quality ceramic pad like ATE Ceramic or Akebono Ceramic or Remsa Ultra Ceramic and you should never need to worry about brakes again for a long time.
