    Blocked windscreen washer jet

Does anyone know a safe way to unblock a washer jet? The drivers side has clogged on one side of the jet causing the remaining jet to hit the roof rather than the windscreen.
I would prefer to do it myself rather than go to the dealer but I don't want to damage it, I also don't want a scratched windscreen.

    any ideas?

    cheers

I used to stick a pin or needle in the hole while using the washer. You might get a bit wet but it does the trick. Get someone else to pull the lever if you can't reach.

Once you've unblocked it, only use demineralised water, available on the supermarket shelf.

pull it apart and use a airgun or blow very hard through it.using a pin is good, but make sure its exactly the same size or smaller than the hole, otherwise you will damage the jet.
