    After 365 days

How the times fly when you are in a Golf. I must have been lucky have now traveled 20,000 klms and have had no problems.
The only thing that I have done was to hit a big hole while speeding on a dirt road and stuffed up the tire, so had to replace two tires.
And if I am going to be picky where the cloth trim is fitted to the door handle a couple of threads have pulled out, no idea if it was always like it or as the dealer would say normal wear and tear.
And as a special bonus the diesel is now cheaper than unleaded.
    I just love the Golf.

My golf's birthday is today, so far travelled 26,000kms.

15,000km service went without a hitch, in between I have dropped into Barloworld for an oil top up four times.

The only thing was the iPod controller blew, but that was replaced under warranty while you wait. Maybe plugging the iPhone into it wasnt good for it.

I love my Golf also, but not VicRoads for not sending me the renewal.

    Oil top up four times.
Not sure that i'd be happy with that.
I have done 29,000km and have not had to top up one drop.

I've done 10,000 k's in mine and although I had an oil change done at 7500 k's I have never had to top it up once as yet. Mind you ours are diesels Logzy so that might have something to do with it

Fair suck of the sav Mickey, you petrolheads had it good with prices for a lot longer than us TDIers, now it's our turn Don't worry I'm sure the bunch of crooks will put the price of diesel up higher than unleaded again, it's only a matter of time but until then

Logzy has a diesel too.... modified a bit though

My golf has now done nearly 38,000km and has used oil from time to time. Topped up twice in the 1st 15 and once the next and now again. less each time and the last was about 250ml (that's all I had left in the bottle they gave me at the 15k service) and just brought it back to full on the dip. Doesn't take much between add and full.

Ours is now two years old and aging beautifully.

I know he has a diesel, that's why I referred to ours being diesels, as in his and mine

    GTIWesome,
When I hit the pothole the tire was flattened so much that it put a small dent in the rim. The air escaped into the sidewall causing a large bubble. So replaced it and the mate. I rotate the tires about every 10k
