I've been doing a bit of googling and can find references to the ads, but I'd love to see it/them myself. Apparantly, once the perception of the brand was changed, the cars started to sell and the cars then did the selling later on. If anyone has a link to the ad (that still works - I've found a couple of dead links) I would love to see it. The ad isn't the cake ad or the Fabis RS 'made of sterner stuff', ad from recent years. I think the one I'm speaking of was 1990s or maybe a bit later. There is, IIRC, a scene where a worker at a car factory is told to put the parts on the 'good quality cars' that came through. He waits as Skodas go past and doesn't put any parts on, as, knowing they were Skodas, they didn't fit into the 'good quality car' rule he was given. The manager then returns, and tells him:"It's a Skoda". "Really?" says the man. Or something like that.
Thanks in advance.
