My sprint booster novelty came in the mail today and got it installed in less than 15mins. Quite easy. Only thing was the factory lead/plug was bloody short. If it were another 1-2mm shorter, then I wouldn't have been abel to install the damn thing. Otherwise, its a fun addition. Certainly makes things feel more exciting and more punchy with less effort on the get go :banana:

Tell me more about the Uprated audi S3 diverter valve & Forge diverter valve...
Did it help with lag at all? Where did you get it and what are the pros and cons?
I thought the Diverter Valve from the S3 just had a stronger rubber section in it meaning it could stand the higher boost demands from a tune TSI engine and the Forge Diverter Valve was purely a noise addition to the car?Quote:

No real difference felt or change in lag or anything like that. Only did it due to the reports of the the diaphragm tearing in tuned cars after a while so thought I might as well get everything done at the same time. Forge diverter valve spacer is only for the BOV sound so really only a novelty for some fun but will be taking it off once the exhaust system is purchased.Quote:

Definately the whiteline anti lift kit!!! That is surely a must!!! Definately helps improve traction off the line. But then again I also got larger wheel with the slightly wider tyres so that must also help a little.Quote:

Yeah the Eibachs also helps as part of the whole package including the whiteline bushes. Still have yet to get the rear sway bar installed.

Nope. Never had an RNS510 otherwise why would i go changing it? Had the old Nexus system (MFD2). Non touchscreen and real crappy sat nav. No USB or SD input, no bluetooth and certainly no DVD player. Hence the change and so far, the new unit works like a charm. Really happy with it. No more frustration with portable bluetooth only connecting when it likes or taking so long to take a call that the person on the other end hangs up. Touch screen make a world of difference especially when using the sat nav function rather than the old buttons and dials to select and scroll.Quote:

Hi dru, yes that's correct. Still need to get it fitted so will let you know if its a direct fit. If it is, then I'd imagine it'll be the same for the tsi ones from the mk6.Quote:

Ha Ha...I'll take pics once I sort out the honey comb grill. I've got the standard vertical slat grill on at the moment. Waiting for those darn fastening clips to come in rom Skoda sydney. Can't believe they don't even have fastening clips at dealers.Quote:

Hoy hoy...spent the whole day at Tim's and got the Eurojet downpipe, intercooler and BSh tru seal intake kit with BSH heat shield installed in one fell swoop. Now for Stage 2+ remap with DNA!!! :banana:
BSH truseal intake kit is impressively loud even in cabin and glad I took off the Forge diverter spacer otherwise too much induction and BOV noise. Overall really happy with everything. Downpipe isnt loud and only just changes the outside tone with the added burble. Nice.
Big thanks to both Tim Josh for the help with install and Josh for install and modding the downpipe. Intercooler is definately a 2 man job at the minimum.

Hopefully by today or tomorrow. Will be DNA stage 2+ maybe get the autotech fuel pump internal upgrade from Tim soon as well to finish it off). After that, a little bit more cosmetic mods and that's it for a long time until I get itchy for the LSD and KO4 :cookie:Quote:

Its a pity thought that both those as final upgrades are bloody expensive with the install of an LSD costing the same if not more than the LSD itself and the KO4 kit cost plus the install and then retune. Sigh :facepalm:
yeah I spoke to Dean today about stage 3 and he said I'd need to get a diff. So how much is the diff then ??
hmmm, I wonder whether there's any insurance issues with putting LSD on a car that wasn't designed with it ..
Probably should be alright. I am with NRMA and they state that as long as the car past roadworthy, any modifications can be carieed out. Is it peloquin LSD?

What needed to be modded on the downpipe in order to make it fit?

Now, Part 1 was unmodded. But what required modding was some shortening and cutting off of the end connection flange of one end of section 2 and cutting off the reducer from section 3 which was then tig'd onto the cut off bit of section 2 hence resulting in a final kit of 2 sections rather than 3. Everything was cut and welded to precision milimeters all thanks to Tim and Josh. Awesome work.
P.S. The down pipe is as quiet in cabin as the factory one with only difference being the very slight extra burble outside. No drone what so ever. So if you want a stealth system then the eurojet downpipe is the way to go. Check it out and get one for yourself from Tim at Dub Ad·dic·tion [duhb uh-dik-shuhn]!!!
Oh man just heard from DNA tuning that I need the fuel pump to really make it worthwhile for the retune. I guess I'll have to get the Autotech fuel pump internal upgrade sooner rather than later. Otherwise I can still get stage 2 tune but just not 2+.
