Spare tyre

Hey guys,

I have a favour to ask...

I am in need of a spare tyre for a day. I accidentally hit a storm drain last night and popped both left hand side tyres. Luckily I was only 2kms from home so I changed the front left and crawled home.

I was hoping that there might be someone in the area (Templestowe Lower/Bulleen) tonight that could drop off a spare to my joint so I can then pop it on to take the care to get all tyres replaced... I will then drop it back off tomorrow night... Car is a 2010 OCt Wagon RS, but pretty sure any octavia will have the same spare.

PS: Any chance I can lodge this with the council to say they should cover damages..?? Its in a new part of bulleen that has smooth gutters that you can drive up on and it happened because I gave way to a car (a bit too much way) and didnt see the storm drain till to late. Problem is this storm drain has a massive drop (which is what caused them to pop) - others in the area are fine to drive over...
