    P0117 2015 Skoda VRS

    Hey people.

    have an erratic temp sensor with the above code on my cheap OBD reader. Goes from reading nothing to max temp on and off. I have checked coolant and it’s fine, coolant hoses are def not over heating nor is there any suggestion the engine is overheating to the touch.

    Can anyone point me to where the coolant temp sensor is located? It has the EA888 gen 3 engine.

    it was the coolant temp sensor. Located above the bellhousing in the head

    part number 079919523J, $124
