So my options at the moment are a MY14 Elegance Wagon TDI/DSG with a set of 16" wheels and extended warranty thrown in for $39.5K drive away, or wait to see what engine/transmissions options we get with the new Scout.

Personally, I don't care about reversing camera, but the comfort pack for the RS seems like, and I would have optioned that

The dimming side mirrors is what I'm liking, though I don't have no ridiculous waiting times to deal with cause i have my car already

Does anyone else find it bizarre that most of the orders have been held up because the Tech pack had beeen optioned & they couldn't supply the reverse camera.... and Skoda AU make the reverse camera standard equipment.

I assume this is to give everyone an equally long wait.

Yes, most likely. The price of the cars will go up to accommodate the price of the RVC as well.

Awaiting build week, which should hopefully be in December some time. The only plus out of this wait has been that I added the comfort pack, so more toys to play with "when" the car finally arrives. This means I will have to hold off on other mods till later next year. I should get more updates this week, hope the new addition to the order doesn't delay it further!
