    Wheel nut key Bora

ok, I lost my spline wheel nut key for my wheels. I cannot change my wheels or take them off if I have a flat. What are my options. VW say that they do not keep or make the key anymore and the only option is to get it ripped off. Does anyone have a key that I can try just to get the bolts out and you can have the bolts as I will not use them again?

Your local VW delear will have the master set, which they can use to work out which one yours is, and order you a replacement.

There is a fair few combos, so finding someone with the same one will be luck of the draw I think...

Nah, there's a kit for passeger cars, covering MK4 and 5, which only has about 20 different keys in it.

I tried wrecker and they do not keep the key. Volks affairs will take it off for $60.00 but they will damage them. VW do not keep the key, they say that there are about 23 different styles and they do not keep them.

Was that just one dealer you went to? Other people have gone through this before and had it sorted.
    Maybe try another one?

If you can't find anyone, you will need to give us a photo/count the number of points in your sockets to try and match it

Volkwerke keep a master set IIRC. I had the same problem and had them lend me their '42 so I could take mine out and replace with plain ones.

Try a different dealer, or Volkwerke as posted earlier.
