Speaking of exhausts, finally got Pierre's old Oettinger tips fitted.
Thanks again Pierre!

Looks good mate, I like the look of the tips being slightly offset.
as i said, exhaust tips look awesome! glad you grabbed them and they look better on yours then they did on my car!
my news, my cupra lip plus other random bits have arrived today!
I put my TT wheels on the car again tonight after using my old rims/tyres for a hillclimb on Saturday. I wish i had left the TT/Bridgestone Adrenaline combo on in the first place to be honest as using crappier tyres wasn't the best way to give the golf a send off from hillclimb duties.

Looks like i'll be ordering new rear rotors and pads soon, as the old (original) rotors have a bit of warpage noticable under heavy braking...
Anyways, tomorrow night i shall be washing the car in prep for Friday nights photo night.
Installed 2 new horns today.

Sorry bad pics.
My bass horn died due to water damage. VW wanted $163 for a new one, wreckers $30. So I went aftermarket, could not pass up $46 delivered for the pair.
A hell of a lot louder than stock.
Thanks boys!
We played around with them for a while and decided that having them slightly offset complimented the shape of the Bora's curved rear apron better than having them straight.
I think they turned out surprisingly well
Nice audio install to come this week as well, and off to see JMac (aka Purveyor of all things VAG) next week, so stay tuned lads!
Took thge .:R on a late night run half way up Putty Rd and back. Niiiiice road.
changed the insurance from nrma to ammi, saving me $480 a year (i never new it was that easy to cancel your previous insurance!), gave her a wash, and drove to get some rolla roof racks, but everywhere shut at 2pm dammit!
Also told the new insurance it had a chip mod so that i don't have to worry about it when i get it done... hopefully in the next few weeks.
Drove the golf to the shops today after about a week of driving my e30 318is. Bloody hell! The GTI has the subtlety of a sledgehammer when you've had a break from it. Brakes almost put you through the windscreen and screaming out of a roundabout in 2nd or 3rd gear never felt so good
I rewarded the Red Baron with a wash and a new set of aerowiper blades (A222 of course!).
