Not feeling the arches, but the ride height wheels and boser are looking spot on
The craftsmanship looks amazing i reckon. i think the reason it doesnt look quite right is because the lower part of the arch where it meets the front bar is too close to a 45 deg angle. it needs to be more gradual down low. This would mean totally redesigning the front bar though.
yeah its not doing it for me... if the car made 1000Front wheel hourse power and you needed to get some wide rubber on teh front for grip id get it... just looks to 'forced' or something imho.
looks very well done though. even the valance looks like comes around the bend!!!???
maybe get that bottom point cut back in a little or make the whole front bumper wider to make it look a little more relaxed and natural?
sorry bro doesn't do a whole lot for me either, kind of kills the subtle lines of the Bora. But each to their own :)
You could pull it off if you had a 1000hp and had to run 11's all around to make sure you had some resemblance of traction.
sorry dude but im with everyone else it just feels sort of forced .. it might work if you blended in a r32 bummper with no black valance but like this it just seems funny to me .. sorry dude everything else looks tough expecialy the bonnet ;)
Ha ha don't be sorry at all, All i asked for was the arches extended slightly so the police don't have a whine over anything. I don't like them either as said it ruins the lines of it. Now the question is how do you fix the problem? I think if it kept the original angle and tapers back at the bottom to where the original bumper was should be ok. As i said love 90% of it with the smoothed doors and blacked b pillars and boser but not the front arches there. He wasnt having such a good day so i decided to leave it then specially so i could have my car over the christmas break. He wants it back to fix up some stuff so ill let him know that im not too stoked over that. Looked good with the bumper off though.

I agree that tapering the arches in at the bottom will improve it a lot.
Boser hood looks awesome
Yep same as comments in the 'what have you done to your mk4' thread;
Front arches will look better if tapered off at the bottom I think. Otherwise it looks like you need a big spoiler on the back and some more aero fins on the front and back bumpers to prep the car for a DTM race hehe ;)
Work looks like it has been done well though - good quality finish etc!
I'm thinking the colour match could be better on the front bumper - seems almost two-tone.
I'm in the same boat on the front arches, while the workmanship is top notch the finished product just looks awkward, doesn't flow :/
