Mk4 golf mods?
Hey everyone was thinking I'll start modding my mk4 golf 1998
It's only a 1.6l so more leaning towards the looks (coilovers, fat wheels etc)
If you guys have any ideas Id love to hear some
post some pics too that'd be sweet
interior mods are cool too!

set of wheels, set of jom coils, new sounds system, cams, indicator fluid delete, you'll be sweet
-
Pretty sure you'll need to put a resistor on the indicator fluid delete though...
But seriously it's your car, do what you want with it. As said above a set of coils and some lower offset wheels would be a good place to start. And never being one to shy away from whoring out my car, this is what I've chosen to do with mine..

Lows and wheels will get you the biggest effect
Some colour coding, nice oem styling if like that look
-
always remember the 1.6 is never going to be fast so don't try and make it fast. go buy a GTI if you want that, you will save thousands.
a set of JOM coilovers and a set of nice wheels will make it 100% cooler straight away.
add a rear sway bar and it will handle amazingly.
then just enjoy

Thanks for the replies guys! Yeah I won't be modifying the engine whatsoever, as you said just buy a gti... One day :p
What's the indicator fluid delete?? And what will that do?
Atm I'm working on getting some jom coilovers and changing the black rub strips to red
Thanks

Haha, yeah sorry about the indicator fluid thing. Keep an eye on the classified section a lot of nice 5x100 wheels come up in there. Or hit up Dylan from a few posts above, that guy always seems to have really nice wheels for sale
