Ahh ok, Does the R32 also have the pancake part ? I am going to get that chopped when I get the second pipe done.

Yes the stock exhaust does but the APR/B&B exhaust deletes that and the centre resonator.
Cheers Al
Hmmm, I may get the centre resonator removed to than if its easy...and hopefully the flapper will be enough to control the noise...
I added some text to the under of an R32 MkIV...

Yes image and text marking the locations is correct, if that's what you were asking :)
Cheers Al
Well I had my exhaust work done, lol, what a mixup !!:duh:
My brother drove PAST the place he was supposed to go to who originally did the work and instead went to another exhaust place because I had the wrong details !!!! No wonder it took him 40 minutes as opposed to the 10 !
Anyways I argued with the guy that my car had been there and he was adament that it hadn't been ! Came to a deal in the end.
Got the second pipe refitted and had the centre resonator removed and pipe straight through.
It is MUCH louder and quite raspy. I am not so sure I like it... anyway's I closed the valve and it is almost stock but a little bit raspier, time will tell if I will leave it like this.
A quick pic that I took without the valence as yet... I reckon the left pipe has to move more to the left...

looks awesome mate! yeah i thought of removing my resonator a while back, wanted to get that nice burble when you take your foot off the accelerator but then heard some videos and didn't like it at all. it sounds like something is broken, that raspy creacking noise.
Yeh it's a lot quieter with the flapper closed. Easily livable I think. But my my if I had to leave the flapper open all the time I would go insane lol and I like it now that gives me the range of control I want with my moods, laid back driving to spirited really loud bogan haha
I am going to buy an electronic solenoid and use that to control it from the cabin and I think if I left it slightly open that would be a good compromise for everyday driving. Using Vacuum would just get to hard as I would have to run a line and than need another solenoid to control if the line is open or shut, I think just going electric straight off would be the best though I am a little bit concerned about the heat.
The good thing when I put the second pipe on as opposed to the dump pipe, it doesn't boom anymore and there wasn't any drone. It was a lot better, dump pipe must have caused some resonance because it was very bassey, I kinda liked it but hell to live with on long trips.
