Sin, here's a recent pic of my GTI with Cupra lip just fitted - I have an R-line bumper, so you get the idea what it would look like. Although I think you might have a small plastic lip on the bottom already which is the stock one not this - this comes from a SEAT Cupra R (it's genuine VW/Audi/SEAT et al). I have the stubby aerial as well.

I gotta be reallllllly careful not to scrape on driveways now!

Good luck for the next 5 months! It will be tough ...

Sin, a quickshifer is a great mod to do.

Balk has got the hpa brand, and ive got a dieselgeek

Hey guys, im back onto the forum again, ive been away for awhile working and slowly getting my R32 up to scratch.

Here are the latest mods ive done on my ride:

    - Seat Cupra R Front Bumper Lower Lip
    - Kumho Ecsta KU19 235/35/R19 Tyres
    - 19" BBS CH Replica Rims (Charcoal/Bronze/Black)
    - Brand New RH Head Lamp Assy (to fix intermediate HID Globe Transmitter Malfunction)
    - Brand New Power Steering Angle Sensor (to fix check light appearing on the dash)

What I plan on doing really soon:

    - Adjustable Coilovers
    - Cold Air Intake Kit
    - Miltek Cat Back Exhaust System
    - Re-gas Aircon Compressor
    - Purchase and install a nice sound system
    - Fix up both key scratches on the sides of the car & remove small dents

At the moment im extremley happy with my car, it is such an amazing ride and still manages to turn heads and raise questions from people everywhere.

Ill post some new photos up shortly.

    Cheers
    Sin

That sounds interesting. They are asking over $1500 for different branded new coilovers here in Perth. Might give that a go if they are legit.

I couldint find any spacers to fit on my rear hubs when i put the new wheels on, i definetly need to look into that because i'd like the rear tyres to stick out a little bit more for a better looking stance.

I was looking to purcahse a K&N CAI but ive read somewhere that they dont perform aswell as some other brands. What do you guys recommened?

Miltek exhaust systems arent that cheap either, close to 5k. Got to start saving up. Ive only just got the flapper mod on at the moment (sounds great, but i'd like to get some power thats why i want a miltek)

I've got the neuspeed intake and a K&N POD filter sitting in the bumper just behing the passenger lower grille. The car is taking about a litre less fuel and feels more responsive. The filter is pretty closed up so no water worries and if i want proper cold air i just remove the grille.
Dont put any kind of pod filters in the engine bay, they are too close to the MAF and it doesn't like the oil from the filter. Thats how i killed my MAF

Here is the kw coilovers link: http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/product...4463&xSec=1837

The guy said that he can't charge VAT since its going to australia

Did you have to do alot of modifying to get the intake to fit? extra piping etc to get it down to the lower grille? thanks for the info about putting it in the engine bay, otherwise i would have done that. I can buy a K&N CAI off ebay from the US for about $127 but im wondering if it is RH or LH drive and if it makes a difference, where did you get yours from?

thanks for the coilover link too. looks good. i dont like the color combination though lol might need to paint the springs blue or i wonder if they can come in blue. yellow is a bit too much for me.

took the R32 out tonight because it the weather cooled down abit due to the rain. god ive missed some cold air to drive in. this 40 degree heat is too much for the car to handle you can feel the difference when the temp outside goes down to 25 degrees. car was really responsive tonight, i just cant get enough of it.

Interesting to see you are running the KU19s.

I have them on my MKV R32. Great tyre for a reasonable price and so far (nearly 30k kms) very long wearing.
