Okay, easy. Got some wire the same size as the 4 holes on the front of the head unit and jammed it in there. By removing the Climate control i could get in behind the head unit to push (a little bit difficult to pull from the front of the unit).
I then removed the head unit, and the tray above it. I had to fill in the top of the tray (has venting holes in it) so i could use it upside down. So the tray has now replaced the position of the headunit, and the head unit sits on the very top making it a hell of a lot easier to hit the buttons on it.
AND... it doesnt squeek anymore!
