And they are on. They weighed 100g less than a slightly worn OEM disc. So not a massive saving. But a fair bit bigger, so hopefully a little more rear bias from the extra leverage.

Still look quite small under a 17” wheel. Any bigger of a disc and it would need to use an aftermarket caliper. At this stage it’ll suffice, I’d love to go to a Nissan/Subaru 2 piston caliper, but not keen on losing the handbrake just yet.

Size comparison of the standard 256mm and the 298mm rotor.

    And a mid install pic

purdy! They do oddly look lost in those wheels.
double take and see how close the caliper is to the inside of the barrel

I have only ever had the max amount of neg camber allowed with the R32 control arms.

Without spending big coin on tubular control arms. I came across a popular method in the UK, which is to use MK2/8J TT ball joints.

Now I was in a bit of a rush to get it all done after work so didn’t take any pictures going through the process.

But as you can see they are a fair bit larger/longer than the stock items.

You do need to drill a hole to line up with the MK4 control arms.

And the end result is quite noticeable.

Good work! Keen to see pictures of what needs drilling next time you are under the car.

Ready for all the camber car meets!

If you look at the photo of the ball joint. You can see the bolt isn’t in the slotted hole.

The ball joint needs to be drilled there to fit.

    Ah yes.
Was it a completely fresh hole or overlapped the orginal one?

The one photo I found of the new hole, was elongating of the slot inboard.

But I was able to drill a new hole next to the slot.
