Wiring must be from the ecu in to the car already? I noticed on some petrol models the loom I got has an extra wire that needs to go to the ecu. Maybe that's a dbw vs cable thing?
This loom ran from the switch, to the rain tray, and a single wire to the fuse box for power. Fairly simple once I worked out which pin went where
That green cruise control light on the dash looks great. Glad that it all came together without too much hair pulling.
Yep so happy. Racked up over 400 miles over the weekend so was used a fair bit.

Mighty handy that. I had to do something similar with my Caddy's roof rails and racks when bringing home a new solid core front door from Bunnings.

Fixed (fingers crossed) gearbox leak and did a fluid change. After a 20min drive 3rd and 5th feel much better. http://www.vwwatercooled.com.au/foru...251475e9-1.jpg
