Clunking in rear after lowering on KWs

After installing my KWs and removing the rear perches for more lows there's been a metal clunking sound in the back when going over bumps. I jacked it up and everything feels tight except for the spring which can twist around when the car is all the way up.. could that be it? It only seems to come from the right side though which is weird.

When the suspension is at full droop are the springs still 100% captive? If not it could cause you grief

Also check the bolts at the top mount. If they are a little loose you can experience clunking.

I had this. Albeit 2wd and it was the bolt under the perch (unless they're completely removed not just the adjuster?) on the drivers side.
I tighten them and no more rattle.

thats a good point. have you removed just the adjuster or the whole perch? if the whole perch make sure the spring actually sits in the bottom mount nicely when compressed under the weight of the car

    Thanks for the insight guys.

When at full droop the spring can't fall out although it can twist around.

I removed the adjuster AND the perch.

I'll jack it up on the weekend and take a look at the rear beam, exhaust, etc.. Thing with the exhaust is that the muffler is on the left side (don't know how the whole exhaust snakes around though?) but I can only hear the sound from the right side..

Drivers seat makes everything sound like its on the right side. Get someone else to drive and sit in the passenger seat, see if it is louder on the left.
