    2001 Cabriolet 2.0 cutting out at low speed

    Over the past couple of weeks my wifes car has total cut out when travelling at low speed. She has to turn the ignition off then back on and the car jump starts and goes again. It does it with both keys, any ideas would be appreciated.

    check earth connecting. one is underneath the battery bracket (need to remove the battery and the bracket) and the other is at gearbox bolt.
    they break up often.
