    Brake problem MK4 GTI

    Hi Guys,

had a quick search on this topic though couldn't find the same issue.

Just had my rear pads replaced and brake fluid changed, but now the brake pedal is really soft and I have to push in a bit before the brakes work properly? They work fine but the pedal wasn't like this before.
My mechanic re-bleed the brakes but this hasn't fixed the problem.

    Thanks for any help

Yes yes yes mate the problem there is the bleed mate, you have to bleed the master cylinder too, there is 2x 9mm bleed nipples on the master mate. Bleed that and your pedal will be rock.

is there a special way of bleeding the master cylinder or is it the same as bleeding the calipers?
