Brake noise; new discs and pads
Hi all,
Didn't know where to post this.
I changed my front brakes on the weekend (brand new discs and pads) - I cleaned everything with a wire brush, brake cleaner etc, greased the guide pins, loktite on the caliper bolts but I have noticed a noise coming from the passenger side when in motion. I know it's hard to diagnose without hearing it, but was hoping someone could suggest what to look for. The noise is like a small squeal (not constant) and only when driving. When I apply the brakes lightly it goes away.
Happy to pull it apart but would like to know if there's something specifically I should look out for. Would the guide pins potentially be the culprit? E.g. too much grease.
Cheers.
