Clutch and fly wheel advice please

hi all been a while since my last post, starting to get a little more time to work on the car and organise a few things that have need to be done eg, installing new coilovers

the most pressing issue is my clutch. started to slip about 2 weeks ago so i thought id replace it and get a lightened flywheel as well. so i ordered a upgraded ECS clutch kit, with 20lb flywheel, also a new crank shaft seal. it came to day, so thats awesome. Need some feed back regarding install price. the only VW / euro car mech left in newcastle is 'European Car Centre' . Ben durie who was the best VW mech ive met, and a total VW nut, passed away. so dont know who to trust doing the work, i cant do. so European Car Centre quoted me about 500-600 for install of clutch. is this good, bad????? also has anyone had dealings with said mechs ???? how has their expirence been???

any feed back would be much appreciated as i would like to get it back on the road soon with out damaging my gearbox... at the moment im nursing her which is frustrating as i miss the whhooooooosssssh !

Agreed. Get it in writing, and give them the work.
