i've got a bag fault coming up.

for the time being does anyone know how this can be disabled?

can a vag-com do this? does anyone in sydney have one i can borrow?

I keep getting an airbag code from the airbag controller. Never had any lights so I just keep clearing it.

    Airbags are over rated anyways

Whats the fault?????? You will find making the wiring connectors tighter and then clearing the fault will do - loose connection - high resistance

i'm not sure exactly what the fault code is as I don't have a VAG-COM and I have to admit I've lost the print out I got when it was serviced.

Their is a warning which comes up on the dash, the airbag light is on and I get a series of loud beeps on start-up.

I wanted to see if I could come user somebody's VAG-COM, see what the problem is and see if it can be turned off or fixed.

I have a feeling that one of the bags in the car has been deplolyed at some stage.

This might be a dumb question, have you tried disconnecting the battery and clearing the code like that? This usually clears the airbag codes (on non VAG cars tho)

Check that the Plugs are all connected and havent vibrated loose

in my GTI the airbag light came on cos the sub vibrated loose the seat belt roller plug

check your seat belt roller plugs

    check your Seat airbag plugs

and get vagcome to chekc what the actuall fault is

if its the driver air bag its usually a faulty clock spring!
