Air coming through the footwell vents when AC is off/on and not selected to foot vent

Hi there. Sam here. Made a post around 2 years ago discussing how my engine was hunting and all that, that’s all been resolved for your information. Have had no issues with the car for the last 2 years but now I’ve started to notice when the AC is turned off that air is coming through the foot well vents. I tried turning the AC on in recirculation mode and it still had air coming through without the selection to foot well mode. Any suggestions on what it might be. Model is a 2002 VW Golf SE 1.6. Thanks

scan the car, you will likely find one of the actuation motors is faulty so not moving flaps to the correct position. You may hear a clicking sound too as it tries to activate.
I had a code like this but being RHD the position made it too big of a job to bother with.
