VW T5 Rim Size

Hey fellas,

I currently have a set of 17 x 7.5 Rims with 235/65/R17s on them. I want to upgrade to 245/65/R17's but was unsure of what rim width to get. I have found a set of really cheap 17 x 9 inch rims which have come off of an Amarok. Can anyone tell me if they have rims that wide on their T5?

I run a 19inch alastaro amarok rim 8" with +43 offset. These work perfectly with a 245/45/19r tyre. Speedo even reads perfectly

So i tried some Amarok 16inch rims and tyres on the weekend! 245/70/R16, they looked mint....but they dont fit over the front brake calipers!!!!!😠😠😠😠 They had a really nic3 thick side wall too!! Has anyone found a 16inch rim that will fit over T5 4motion brakes? My spare is a 16inch so i know they are out there....

You also have to check the load rating. If it is wrong your insurance wont cover you in an accident.
