    T4 ecu

    Hi Guy's,
I have a 2004 VR6 Caravelle which does not like days above 30 degrees. The ECU gets to hot and just cuts out, leaving me on the side of the road, then you have to wait an hour or two for it to cool down and it will go again. Freeze spray also works, but only for a short time.
Can anybody point me in the direction of where I might get some help with this in Brisbane. Thanks.

    Dub Rat.

Are you certain its the ECU , my T4 would do similar things and it turned out to be a relay in the fuse box which would intermittently cut out while driving and like yours you would wait for a while and it would then go again , $24 relay from VW fixed it .
